About the Job

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions in Power BI! In addition to building business metrics and performing data analysis, you will collaborate with our multi-functional team to enable customer-facing experiences and support deep data research. This role requires technical expertise, curiosity, and the ability to partner with a wide variety of team members to get the job done.

A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or any related field along with 2~3 years or more of demonstrable experience is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build small-to mid- size business intelligence (BI) solutions – data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses – or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data.

  • Use well-defined requirements to build a solution that enables effective, data-driven business decisions. Deliver end product on schedule.

  • Invent, refine, and develop BI solutions to ensure they meet the needs of the business and team goals.

  • Troubleshoot data, analyses, and code; research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Good Experience in MS SQL Server services (Engine, Integration, Analysis and Reporting)

  • Good experience in designing and building OLTP and data warehouse using MS SQL Server

  • Good experience in MS Power BI

  • Good experience in dealing with structured and unstructured data sources

  • Good experience in Designing of conceptual, logical and physical data models, data warehouse, dashboards, reports, and performance indicators

  • Good knowledge of Big Data, NoSQL

  • Strong attention to details

  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

  • Very Good command of English both spoken and written

  • Able to work remotely and collaborate well in a team setting

  • Ability to travel inside and/or outside of Egypt if needed
